当研究室では、未来の情報社会を支える革新的な計算機システムの実現を目指し、研究を進めています。
コンピュータアーキテクチャを中心に、集積回路、ネットワーク、ソフトウェア、計算理論、HCIといった多様な研究分野を横断する全体最適化を進め、インタラクションや計算の観点で新たな価値を提示するシステムをつくっています。Our research focuses on realizing innovative computer systems that will support the information society of the future. Centered on computer architecture, we take a holistic approach by integrating diverse fields such as integrated circuits, networks, software, computational theory, and human–computer interaction (HCI). Through this interdisciplinary optimization, we aim to develop systems that create new value from both interaction and computational perspectives.

また、国内外の大学や企業、複数の研究機関と密な共同研究を実施しています。
独自のプロセッサやユーザインタフェースデバイスをつくってみたい方、ソフトウェア・ハードウェアエンジニアリングに熱意を持って取り組みたい方を歓迎します！A distinctive feature of our lab is that we conduct research and development across multiple layers and actually design, build, and operate our own computer systems. Our student members regularly present their work at top-tier international conferences. We also actively collaborate with a wide range of research institutions. We welcome students who aspire to create original processors or user interface devices, as well as those who are passionate about software and hardware engineering and eager to implement their own entirely new ideas from the ground up.

計算機環境としては、ハイエンドなワークステーションや最新のFPGA、クラスタマシンが整備されています。
Our computing environment includes high-end workstations, state-of-the-art FPGA platforms, and cluster machines that support large-scale experiments and system development.

コアタイムはありません。2週に1度グループミーティング、必要に応じて門本と1on1での相談の時間を設けています。
There is no core-time requirement. We hold a group meeting every two weeks, and separate one-on-one meetings with Kadomoto are arranged as needed for research discussions.

・形状自在計算機（アナログ/ディジタル集積回路、計算機アーキテクチャ、ユーザインタフェースデバイス）
・誤り耐性型汎用量子計算機（ディジタル集積回路、計算機アーキテクチャ、量子計算）
の研究開発にたずさわる研究員の方を募集しています。興味を持たれた方は門本まで連絡をお願いします。We accept students from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Department of Information and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo.
We are currently seeking postdoctoral researchers to engage in research and development in one of the following areas:
- Morph-Aware Computer, encompassing analog and digital integrated circuits, computer architecture, and user interface devices; or
- Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computer, covering digital integrated circuits, computer architecture, and quantum computing.
Researchers who are interested in contributing to these projects are encouraged to contact Kadomoto directly. -
